The british forces in france in World War II were trying to take France back but what they wanted mostly is Cean and Paris. The germans failed to keep there defenses up in Paris and soon the British Won! The battalion that took that back was mostly 3rd Battalion but Budica Boys helped them. The british took many parts of france back to get Cean. Like Hill 112 and many other great places.
